It's the unofficial beginning of the Christmas shopping season. Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving and typically the busiest shopping time of the season. In an attempt to make use of the increased traffic, many stores will start sales extremely early in the day offering consumers large discounts on popular presents. Sales tend to be ideal though during earlier hours although some shops offer sales all day. Most stores open their doors by 5 or 6 AM with door buster product sales lasting only until 9 or 10 AM. Typically, buyers will encounter big sales on electronics, sports, clothing and toys. How can you know what items will bring the biggest bargains? Most Black Friday sales fliers tend to be sent to consumers around Thanksgiving Day. Recently though several web sites have finally begun publishing store advertisements and information as soon as 30 days ahead of time. While most of these websites are reliable you should confirm the cost though in order to prevent spending time looking for products which aren't actually on sale. To ensure that you obtain the most from the Black Friday shopping experience, here are some tips to try.

1. Use comfortable clothing and shoes. Do not be concerned about putting on your Sunday's best; this trip isn't about vanity! 2. Access the fliers as soon as possible. This could mean buying a newspaper (yes, they still print them), or even more appropriately, surfing the net. Make your wish list using this information. 3. Plan your route! If you're shopping alone, select the most crucial item to buy and go to that shop first.

4. Leave the kids at the house! If that just isn't possible, make sure to have snacks as well as a stroller! 5. Get there early- preferably ahead of the stores opening time. You will see lines waiting outside! 6. Access the fliers as soon as possible. This could mean buying a newspaper (yes, they still print them), or even more appropriately, surfing the net. Make your wish list using this information. 7. If you have a shopping partner, split up your lists and cover double the amount of ground. It can help to carry a mobile phone in order to get a hold of your shopping companion quickly and know what they have picked up. 8. Get the items that are the most important first then look around for bonus product sales.

9. Have fun! No pushing or trampling people! Remember in the off chance your item is taken another sale will usually come along, and there is always Cyber!

10. Make sure to have all the information you need to prevent returns. Gather sizes, style preferences and other information from your household so you can make the most of the sales as you go along. 11. Bring the right automobile! Remember in the event that you purchase a 42 in TV, leave the compact automobile at home!
